1. Jack is one. ONE, people. Not “11 months” not “almost one” he’s ONE. As in we are counting in YEARS now—not weeks, not months. He is one. Which sounds an awful lot like “won”. So yeah, Charlie Sheen may be winning but my kid’s already won. Take that.
2. John is almost done with his MBA. He’ll be done this month. Then we’ll be a power couple. Except I’m more powerful because I have a JD and he only has a measly MBA. I make him call me Doctor Molly. Because I’m that good of a wife.
3. Jack’s favorite food is Indian. I’ve made mulligatawny soup 3 times and the kid eats it more excitedly than he eats anything else. It’s great because it has protein and a bunch of veggies in it. The only problem is that he smells like curry for 3 days straight after he eats it. And every time I sniff my kid, I crave Chicken Tikka Korma.
4. I cannot stop listening to Matt Maher’s “Christ is Risen”. It’s only the first day of Lent. I may be a little ahead of myself here but I LOVE that song.
5. In case you were wondering, yes, Jack is walking:
We normally do put a shirt on our son. However, he’d just finished eating pasta and getting sauce all over his shirt. So we stripped him down. And the he started walking…so forever his “first walking” video will be with him shirtless.
6. We have a fun weekend ahead of us full of gardening, babysitting Brady Boy, and trying not to get sick (John has a cold…AGAIN!)
7. Send some love over to Chelsea at Roots and Rings. Her little boy Jansen has pink eye in BOTH eyes. Plus he has a respiratory infection…that now she and her husband have both caught. Can you imagine how horrible things must be over at Hurst Castle? Say a little prayer for quick healing for all of them.
8. My friend Christine is having a baby in September. Her first. My friend Leslee (Christine’s big sister) is having her second baby a couple weeks after Christine is. I think that they were trying to copy me and Browyn. Nice try girls. But your due dates are too far apart. Really though, congrats ladies! Thrilled for you both!!!
HAPPY WEEKEND Y’ALL!!!!

would you share your soup recipe please?
Thanks for the prayers. Jansen's eyes are looking much better today.
Jack is so cute! I'm so proud of him! Now get ready for all the bumps on the head!
Thanks for the shot out!
I am so excited to see the Campbells in a few weeks!
I made Chicken Korma the other night. I wish I could get Amelia to eat soup. Actually I wish I could get Amelia to eat ANYTHING I could hide some vegetables in. Unless I start figuring out a way to get things into say mac & cheese, bologna, honey comb cereal and yogurt with m&ms, clementines, bananas or grapes, I'm kinda outta luck haha.
That video makes me happy :) Here we were cheering on our boy last night because he can turn his head side to side while on his tummy.. and JACK IS WALKING!! Our boys rule :)
